The British Council has been teaching classes at our school from Preschool (age 4) through the final year of Secondary Education for the past six academic years.

The main objective is for students to acquire the necessary knowledge to actively participate in both oral and written social practices, achieving this through specific activities that facilitate the practical use of the language in communicative situations.

The main actions proposed are:

  • Develop language skills through a variety of classroom activities and support materials.
  • Practice and develop oral expression by working in pairs and larger groups.
  • Gain confidence and motivation as assignments and projects are assessed.

Studying another language involves being able to communicate with another person, learn about other cultures and customs, observe and reflect on other points of view… In short, open our minds and discover new horizons.
